The Trail

On about 3 acres of Fearrington property, North Langdon Trail is part of the network of walking trails we are so fortunate to have at Fearrington. It is only a quarter mile loop, but it is truly a special natural place.  Somehow "alluvial floodplain forest" does not describe its quiet peacefulness.

Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, it is almost entirely wheelchair accessible and it is improving every month.  A bench next to the south fork of Bush Creek is at the farthest point from the road
